The Law Against Abortion: Its Perniciousness Demonstrated and Its Repeal Demanded. By William J. Robinson, M.D. Published by The Eugenics Publishing Company, Inc. New York, 1933. Pp. 123. Price $2.00.

The author concludes his argument in this little book as follows: “We demand legalized prevenception in order to do away with abortions. We demand abortions to be legalized in order to do away with infanticide, in order to save thousands of women from the hands of incompetent and ignorant bunglers, in order to save thousands and thousands of women from shame, disgrace, ostracism, blood poisoning, invalidism, death and suicide.”

He illustrates his thesis by quoting numerous cases: sad, tragic, terrible beyond words.
