Plusieurs observations psychosomatiques nous incitent à une réflexion théorique sur les rapports entre le somatique et le surmoi. Le corps dans ses couches profondes somatiques semble être prit dans les mailles du ça et du surmoi dans les phases précoces de son évolution. D'où l'idée d'un surmoi-corps pour figurer ces rapports intimes entre le soma et le surmoi.
