IX., Berggasse 19

Dear friend,

Today I signed the contract which binds us to Csorbató from August 1 on. A piece of success, nonetheless! Our rooms are the same ones we reserved last year, so that you can take the spare third in Augusta (no. 20, 8 + 24 crowns) without any regrets. Wife and daughter will inhabit the ideal salon with veranda, and I will reserve the adjacent room for myself. Nothing is assured for July; my wife on no account wants to stay in Vienna; Anna will in any case accept the invitation to Steinbruch, and we will either go to Schwerin or someplace else. It is supposed to be very improbable that we will get the two rooms in the main house in July; under no circumstances could we relinquish one of them to you.
